    Serves in a key role in assisting in the implementation of key performance improvement initiatives. Acts as a liaison between the heart and vascular service line and other areas (internal and external) that routinely provide continuum of care to heart and vascular patients. Responsible for tracking and reporting quality and performance metrics for the heart and vascular service line. Ensures data is accurate and reported timely to clinical data registries. Participates in hospital committees related to STEMI and cardiovascular care.

    Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

    Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

    Education/License/Experience Requirements:

    • Current state registered nurse license required.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cardiology or critical care
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Previous experience in cardiac data collection, process improvement or equivalent preferred
    • ACLS certification preferred.

    Non-Exempt

     

     

    Starting Wage

    $33.64/hourly

    Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience
