Pay Rate
Local: $75.00 - $80.00/hour
Traveler: $80.00 - $83.00/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist to support invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in an acute-care setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Applied Science program.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab or invasive procedure experience.
  • ARRT certification with Cath Lab experience.
  • AHA BLS Certification.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • RCIS certification through CCI or Radiologic Technologist License required within 1 year of hire.
  • Manifold system experience required.
  • Scrub assist and table-side experience required.
  • Hemodynamic monitoring and sterile technique experience.
  • Invasive cardiac and peripheral procedure experience.
  • Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements.
  • Radiation safety compliance required.
  • English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures.
  • Support temporary and permanent pacemaker procedures.
  • Assist with IABP and Impella devices.
  • Prepare procedure-specific equipment and sterile trays.
  • Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and monitoring.
  • Calibrate and test hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
  • Obtain and analyze hemodynamic data.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Operate power injectors and sterile support equipment.
  • Maintain digital cine technology and patient imaging records.
  • Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, radial access banding, and closure devices.
  • Recognize cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Maintain inventory, equipment, and PAR levels.
  • Operate Cath Lab equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety.
  • Provide age- and culturally appropriate patient care.
  • No on-call requirement.
  • No floating requirement.
  • Holidays required.
  • Scrubs provided.
