A Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN opportunity is available in Anchorage, AK at a 250-plus-bed hospital recognized with 5-star ratings for heart attack treatment, bowel obstruction treatment, and colorectal surgery.
The role. In this position, you will serve as the clinical RN responsible for all testing and therapeutics performed across a 3-room cath lab averaging 4–6 procedures per day. The scope of procedures includes cardiac catheterizations and coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostics and interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural heart procedures such as LAAC and TAVR. You will guide patients through every phase of each procedure — transport, site preparation, sterile technique, patient monitoring, hemostasis following catheter or sheath removal, and return to room — and will manage emergent cases as they arise. You will facilitate interdisciplinary communication using the SBAR hand-off process, maintain accurate and compliant patient records, and complete all procedure-associated documentation in preparation for physician interpretation. Experience circulating, monitoring, and administering sedation medications, including mixing sedation drips, is essential to this role.
What we're looking for.
Schedule. Full-time, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.) with weekend and holiday call; candidates must be able to respond on-site within 30 minutes and can expect 8–10 on-call days per four-week period.
Compensation. $38.79 - $56.74/hr plus $25,000 sign-on bonus
