Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Are you a Physician Assistant with a passion for cardiothoracic surgery? We are recruiting for a permanent Open Heart Physician Assistant opportunity in South Florida!

This is an exciting opportunity for a PA who enjoys working closely with surgeons, participating in complex surgical procedures, and providing comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical process.

Position Highlights

• Specialized cardiothoracic surgery practice

• Opportunity to work directly with surgeons

• Involvement in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care

• Hands-on surgical and clinical responsibilities

Responsibilities

• First assist in open heart and cardiothoracic surgical procedures

• Conduct patient assessments and examinations

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Participate in inpatient rounding and consultations

• Provide wound care and bedside procedures

• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process

• Educate patients and families

Ideal Candidate

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

• Appropriate PA licensure and credentials

• 1 year experience required

• FL License or eligibility

• Interest in cardiothoracic and open heart procedures

• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
