Job Title: Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist – Nights (Travel/Contract)
Location: Dallas, TX (onsite)
Employment Type: Contract, 13 weeks
Pay: $50.00/hour (about $2,000/week)
Shift: Nights, 4x10s, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Asa Healthcare Staffing is hiring an experienced Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week night-shift contract at a leading academic medical center in Dallas, Texas. You'll do cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams for inpatient and emergency patients, working with cardiology and radiology teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiovascular and vascular ultrasound exams following department protocols
- Get high-quality diagnostic images and give preliminary findings to interpreting physicians
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and keep patients safe and comfortable
- Handle STAT and emergency requests during night shift
- Document exams accurately in the EMR and PACS
- Maintain equipment and follow infection control and HIPAA standards
Requirements
- ARDMS certification (required)
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credential through ARDMS (required)
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association
- At least 2 years of recent hospital ultrasound experience
- Able to work 4x10-hour night shifts for the full 13 weeks
