- Shift: 7 days on; Monday 6:00 AM – following Monday 7:00 AM (Day shift 07:00 – 18:00, includes one weekday NOC call and one weekend NOC call)
- Hours/Week: 16 hours/day during scheduled shifts
- Employment Type: Contract
- License/Certs: Wisconsin State License, Board Certified in Cardiology, BLS & ACLS certifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in general/non-invasive cardiology with inpatient rounding, ECHO, and EKG interpretation
- Patient Volume: 7-22 inpatients daily
- Support Staff: Inpatient team includes 1 physician, 3 APPs, with additional intensivists, RNs, and imaging techs available
- EMR: EPIC

What You'll Do
- Provide inpatient general cardiology care, including assessment and management of adult patients
- Interpret and perform transthoracic echocardiograms (ECHO) and EKG readings
- Conduct inpatient rounds with APP team to coordinate patient care
- Manage common cardiovascular conditions such as chest pain, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, valve disease, hypertension, and dyslipidemia
- Support the hospital's non-invasive cardiology services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
- Supervise APPs and contribute to shared caseloads
What You Need
- MD or DO with Wisconsin license (or eligible for licensing)
- Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Minimum 2 years inpatient cardiology experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Ability to supervise APPs and work collaboratively
- Must be able to interpret ECHO and EKGs accurately
