Description
We are seeking an experienced Chinese-speaking Nurse Practitioner (NP/FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong background in Cardiology to join a growing healthcare team in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication abilities, and experience evaluating and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions. This position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, competitive compensation, and visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical histories.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular and other medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide follow-up care and ongoing management of patients.
- Apply cardiology knowledge and clinical experience to patient evaluation and treatment.
- Provide urgent care services when required.
- Support occupational health-related patient care.
- Prescribe medications and treatments within applicable scope of practice.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Current New York State licensure required.
- Appropriate federal/state credentials and prescribing privileges.
- Active DEA license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous Cardiology experience required.
- Knowledge or experience in urgent care medicine.
- Knowledge or experience in occupational health.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese required.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
