We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Interventional Technologist to join a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab team for a 13-week travel assignment.
The Interventional Technologist will work alongside cardiologists, nurses, and other members of the cardiovascular team to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment and committed to maintaining patient safety, accuracy, and high-quality care.
Responsibilities
Perform interventional cardiology imaging and procedural support under supervision.
Assist physicians during catheterization procedures and data capture.
Monitor patient vitals and respond to intra-procedural changes promptly.
Adhere to quality metrics, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
Prepare and maintain sterile field and imaging equipment for procedures.
Ensure accurate documentation of procedure details and post-procedure notes.
Collaborate with the broader team to meet performance targets and pipeline goals.
Manage on-site workflow to maximize throughput and minimize procedure time.
Proactively seek learning opportunities to advance technical skills in interventional techniques.
Assist in inventory management and equipment maintenance to ensure readiness.
Provide patient education and post-procedure guidance to enhance recovery.
Experience/Qualifications
Certified Interventional Cardiology Technologist with relevant licensure
RCIS and ARRT Certification.
Adherence to quality metrics, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in intra-procedural imaging and catheterization support
Strong patient vitals monitoring and rapid response to changes
Accurate documentation of procedures and post-procedure notes
Eagerness to learn and advance in interventional techniques
Sterile field setup and imaging equipment preparation
