MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology team supporting both Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Cardiology services. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, high-acuity specialty practice alongside experienced physicians and a strong APP team.

Position Highlights
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions
Provide care in both clinic and hospital settings
Support EP and Interventional services including:
Arrhythmia management
Post-procedure care (pacemakers, ablations, cath lab cases)
Heart disease management
Perform rounding, consults, and follow-up care
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care coordinators
Educate patients on treatment plans and lifestyle modifications
Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Eligible for Iowa licensure
Cardiology experience preferred; however:
Candidates with strong acute care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply
Interest in EP and Interventional Cardiology preferred
Strong clinical judgment and team collaboration skills
