This 457-bed facility operates as a major public teaching hospital and serves as the largest municipal healthcare system in the United States. The institution holds Level I Trauma Center designation and maintains established clinical protocols to support comprehensive cardiovascular disease management. Clinical infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing inpatient and outpatient coverage on an on-site basis. About the Facility Location

The assignment is located in New York, a state offering a range of regional attractions and year-round activities. The Finger Lakes region offers destinations such as Watkins Glen State Park and the Corning Museum of Glass, along with opportunities for nature and wildlife tours. Clinicians on assignment will also find wineries, scenic state parks, family-friendly rail excursions, live music, outdoor dining, and shopping experiences across communities throughout the region. About the Clinician‘s Workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular disease management during day shift hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, four weeks per month. Clinical responsibilities include reading echocardiograms and nuclear cardiology studies across both care settings. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography is required for consideration. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
