This role involves assessing patients, administering medications, and responding rapidly to any changes or cardiac emergencies. It also involves working closely with the healthcare team and educating patients on managing their heart health.Requirements:
    • 2 years’ ER experience required.
    • Flu Vaccine Required- No Exemptions
    • 1 year of EPIC experience is required
    • Medication system: Pyxis & Omnicell
    • Certificates Required:  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
    • 1st time travelers considered based on experience
    • Skills: Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
    • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Cardiac / Telemetry Monitoring, Pulse Oximetry Monitoring, Patient Assessment, Coordination of testing and procedures,  Collaboration with providers, Acute Nursing Care,
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop a patient specific plan of care.
    • Consult with specialty services to include but not limited to cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, neurology.
    • Types of Procedures Performed: Cardiac / telemetry monitoring, Permanent Pacemaker pacing, TEE, Negative pressure isolation (AFB), Thoracentesis/Paracentesis, Level 3 administration of continuous intravenous infusions per health policy, Level 3 IV Push medications for inpatient care per health policy
    Schedule:Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)FLOAT is required if needed.Call required.Weekend coverage- Every other but may change based on need.Apply Today!
