Join our team as a Cardiac Technician I, where you will play an essential role in supporting high-quality cardiovascular care. In this entry-level position, you will assist with the preparation, monitoring, and documentation of cardiac diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, stress testing, and telemetry monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and accurately record electrocardiograms (EKGs and other non-invasive cardiac tests
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and clear instructions
Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly report abnormalities to clinical staff
Maintain and troubleshoot cardiac equipment to ensure proper function
Document patient data and test results in the electronic medical record (EMR
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals to support patient care
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare or cardiac-related training preferred
Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and rhythm interpretation (or willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Purpose:
Implement and prepare for interpretation of cardiac testing that includes EKGs, Holter Monitoring Hook-ups and Stress Testing.
Responsibilities:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 6 months experience in a medical related field is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours to meet the department's needs that include evenings, weekends, holidays and weekend/holiday On-Call required. Basic typing and computer skills are also required. Transcription skills are preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Completion of a Medical Assistant or Cardiac Technician course preferred.
