Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 2 years within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 2 years of Cardiac Sonography experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Two years of cardiac experience in a hospital setting is required.

Required Credentials: Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP)-accredited diagnostic ultrasound program is required.

Unit Details: Performs an extensive range of cardiac ultrasound studies and may also perform vascular studies in clinical and research settings at various locations. Examinations may include transthoracic, exercise, and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms; special procedures include echo-guided myocardial biopsies and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy studies, with additional procedures dictated by research protocols and clinical trials. Conducts inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms, stress echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiography of the heart and related structures.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule with weekend rotation.

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 2 years

• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS))

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or the alternative certification RCS
