Weekend & Holiday Shifts: No

On-Call Shifts: No

Shift Differentials:

• Evening - $3.00/hour

• Night - $5.00/hour

• Weekend - $4.50/hour

• Pharm Night - $8.50/hour

Premiums:

• Standby - $4.00/hour

• Lead - $3.25/hour

• Per Diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)

• Certification - $2.00/hour

• Trainer - $2.00/hour

• Student Coord - 1 = $2.00/hour, 2+ = $3.25/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applies sonography safely to patients for diagnostic purposes upon the request of a physician. Also works under the supervision of the interpreting physicians for cardiac sonography.

EDUCATION

• Completion of an accredited cardiac sonography program. 

EXPERIENCE

• Two years previous experience in adult transthoracic, stress (exercise and dobutamine), transesophageal (TEE) cardiac ultrasound preferred.  Hospital setting preferred.

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS

• Credentialed or eligible for credentialing through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).  Must be credentialed within one year of hire date. 

• Current BLS.
