Cardiac Monitor Technician

Summary:

Identifies basic normal rhythms/dysrhythmias and lethal arrhythmia's, reporting these findings to the appropriate personnel and labeling and mounting rhythm strips per BayCare policy.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Essential:

• HS Graduate or Equivalent GED

Nonessential:

• Technical Program Completion or Degree

Education specialization:

Nonessential:

• Electrocardiography EKG

Education equivalent experience:

Essential:

• Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Technical - Electrocardiography (EKG)
