Cardiac Hospitalist Position in State College, PA

Mount Nittany Health is recruiting a skilled, BC/BE General Cardiologist who has interest in practicing IP Only! The cardiology hospitalist will provide inpatient in-house coverage on the cardiology unit.

Join a well-established, employed group of 8 physicians and 7 PA-Cs. Located in State College, PA, Mount Nittany Medical Center is a 260-bed acute care facility with a new, state of the art bed tower opening in the fall of 2026 which will make all of the med/surg rooms fully private.   This is an opportunity to join a strong, independent health system that offers all of the luxuries of a college townincluding short commutes, NCAA Sports, Arts, high quality schools and outdoor recreation abounds with beautiful hiking and biking trails. Community based medicine is a plus! The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.

The Position:

• Full Time or Part Time - IP Only!
• 3 General Cardiologists, 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists and 6 Cardiology PA-Cs
• Call is flexible to candidate availability. Seeking at least 1 week of 7 day coverage per month (weekday (M-F) coverage is only 8A to 5P).
• Device Clinic for Pacer and Cardiac Implant Patients
• 1 Cath Lab
• 1 Vascular/EP Lab
• 1 Cardiac CT (expected early 2027)
• 5 Special  Procedures Rooms  --2 Vascular and 3 Echo rooms on site and 2 Echo rooms at Outreach locations
• EMR: Epic (as of May 30 2026)
• 1 Vascular Surgeon and 1 Vascular PA share Cardiology practice space

Compensation Package:

• Competitive base salary + wRVU production incentive
• CME allowance
• Sign-on bonus  $100K Full Time (Prorated for Part Time FTE)
