Job Summary and Qualifications

The EP Specialist, under the supervision of the Supervisor of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Director of CV services, is responsible for performing the daily operations for the Cardiac Cath lab. The CCL CVT is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cases and hemodynamic monitoring. Other departmental duties as assigned actively support process improvements in the CCL.

  • Assist the Provider with EP studies, catheter ablations, and implantation of cardiac devices (i.e.. Pacemaker, ICDs..)

  • Adheres strictly to aseptic and sterile techniques during procedures
  • Work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Continuously monitors patients' vital signs and cardiac data (EKG and EGMs) in real time, interpreting recordings to provide feedback and identify potential complications

What qualifications you will need:

Required:
BLS & ACLS certifications

Preferred:
1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting 
Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology
RCES
Experience with operating the Intracardiac Recording System
Experience with setting up, operating and troubleshooting specialized EP equipment and this includes recording, 3D mapping and ablation systems

Hours: 4, 10 hour shifts (typically 7am-5:30pm) No weekends, call or holidays
