Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 12 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years of diagnostic, interventional radiology, or Cath/EP Lab experience is required.

Unit Details: - Supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. - Responsibilities include cath lab room, equipment, and supply setup; patient documentation; hemodynamic measurements/recording; ECG recognition during procedures; scrubbing procedures; and access site management. - Uses IVUS, intracardiac echo (ICE), contrast injector, hemodynamic system, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, Impella, and LVAD equipment. - Serves as a preceptor and resource for junior technicians/technologists and for advanced procedures, including structural heart procedures. - Acts as the radiation safety representative during X-ray use; this role does not administer fluoroscopic imaging.

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications CI, RCES, CV

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
