Role: Card Access Specialist – Badge Operations
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Schedule: Onsite five days per week
Desired Start Date: October 15, 2026
Contract Duration: Six months; this is project-based support

Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Card Access Specialists to support employee badge production and physical access operations. This position is responsible for reviewing badge requests, printing access badges, validating employee information, and preparing completed badges for pickup or shipment.
The ideal candidate has experience in badge operations, access control, corporate security, administrative processing, or another high-volume operational environment requiring accuracy and procedural compliance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Process and print employee and contractor access badges according to established procedures and service-level expectations.
  • Review badge requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with identification and photo standards.
  • Validate employee information, badge type, template selection, profile details, and access requirements.
  • Operate badge printers and related systems to produce accurate, high-quality access credentials.
  • Record badge serial numbers and verify that printed badge information matches system records.
  • Prepare completed badges for pickup, shipment, or internal distribution.
  • Reject or return incomplete and non-compliant requests and communicate the required corrections.
  • Maintain accurate badge-production records, inventory information, and request status updates.
  • Monitor daily production queues and prioritize urgent or time-sensitive requests.
  • Support high-volume badge-printing projects and production blitzes.
  • Handle confidential employee and contractor information securely and professionally.
  • Escalate system, equipment, data, or request-related issues to the appropriate support team.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in badge management, access control, corporate security, administrative processing, operations support, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive, high-volume work accurately.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and security requirements consistently.
  • Experience reviewing employee information, requests, records, or identification details for accuracy.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems, work queues, spreadsheets, email, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members and business partners.
  • Availability to work onsite five days per week at the Charlotte CIC location.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience printing employee badges, access cards, identification cards, or secure credentials.
  • Familiarity with physical access systems, badge-request workflows, or access-management platforms.
  • Experience supporting corporate security, facilities, workplace services, or identity and access operations.
  • Experience using badge printers and managing card stock, ribbons, film, lanyards, and related supplies.
  • Experience reviewing employee badge photos and profile information against established standards.

Pay Range: $30 - $32

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
