The purpose of this job is to perform a variety of routine-to-complex technical engineering, construction and project management, and administrative work in support of the planning, design, construction and maintenance of County projects, and to perform related work as required.
This position works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Science or related discipline and 6 years of construction management, code compliance, architect or related experience.
Or
Ten years of construction management, code compliance, architect or related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but employees must be available during the "core" work hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Employee must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be available to work holidays, weekends, and during emergencies.
