    The role is based in New Century, KS (onsite role). You will play a critical role in delivering site capital projects that support safe, efficient, and reliable food ingredients manufacturing operations. Working closely with site leadership and cross‑functional partners, you will help translate business needs into executed capital solutions.

    Where You'll Make a Difference

    • Lead the end‑to‑end execution of site minor capital programs, with a total portfolio value up to $5M and individual projects typically up to $1M
    • Execute projects from inception through operational handover, ensuring compliance with site and corporate engineering and safety processes
    • Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, technology, safety, quality, and procurement to deliver robust project outcomes
    • Drive design development, constructability, and safety‑in‑design throughout all project phases
    • Maintain disciplined control of cost, schedule, and performance, including forecasting and monthly capital reporting
    • Manage internal resources and external engineering and construction partners to ensure scope, quality, and schedule adherence
    • Support readiness‑to‑operate, commissioning, and close‑out activities, including documentation and financial closure
    • Contribute to site capital planning, supporting project prioritization aligned to operational and business needs

    What Makes You the Right Fit

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process/Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Food Technology, Bio‑Tech) or equivalent technical experience
    • 2+ years of experience executing capital projects in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments
    • Working knowledge of engineering fundamentals, industry codes, and manufacturing systems
    • Experience with project management fundamentals including scheduling, cost control, and risk management
    • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, utilities, equipment, DCS systems, and Management of Change (MOC)
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a site environment
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional and external teams
    • Comfort working in a hands‑on, onsite manufacturing setting

    How Would You Stand Out?

    • Experience executing projects through a formal minor capital project process
    • Knowledge of SAP, capital cost controls, or portfolio management tools
    • OSHA 30 (Construction Safety) or equivalent certification
