IDR is seeking a CapEx / MRO / Site Process Materials Category Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Glen Mills, PA. This role involves managing a significant annual spend and developing strategic sourcing initiatives for industrial and manufacturing operations within a dynamic organization. The company is a leader in industrial services, committed to operational excellence and innovation.

Position Overview for the CapEx / MRO / Site Process Materials Category Manager:

  • Accountable for managing approximately $100M annual spend across CapEx, MRO, and site process materials for the Americas region.
  • Lead and develop a team of Sourcing Specialists to support category strategies and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with Business Units, Operations, Technology, and other stakeholders to develop and continually evolve sourcing and productivity plans.
  • Negotiate and execute supply agreements, balancing quality, service, risk, and value to meet company objectives.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with key suppliers to advance organizational goals, enhance supplier capabilities, and address performance gaps.

Requirements for the CapEx / MRO / Site Process Materials Category Manager:

  • Recent experience as a Site Materials or Category Manager in CapEx, MRO, or related categories within an industrial setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of procurement experience in an industrial company, with proven leadership of diverse, multi-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with source-to-contract procurement processes and e-sourcing tools.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and manage international travel when needed.
