The Campus Support Specialist position supports Bay Port High School's students in non-academic areas, providing safety, guidance, and support in multiple areas. The position's primary responsibility is to build relationships during hallway monitoring and supervision, and lunchtime hours.

The Campus Support Specialist position is a part-time, school year position located at Bay Port High School. There are three (3) open vacancies with various schedules available; Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, Monday-Friday from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm, or 2 days/week working Thursday from 10:30 am to 2:45 pm and Friday from 10:45 am to 2:45 pm. Start date is September 1, 2026. Starting wage is $17.00. This position is not eligible for health or dental benefits based on ACA regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Be visible in the hallways during passing periods supporting students during transitions to and from classes.
  • Hallway-Be visible to all students by being in an assigned hallway during passing times.
  • Support the campus support team when extra support is needed or there is an absence.
  • Support in the classroom as needed or directed by administration

  • Collaboration as a Campus Support team to ensure that all students' needs are being met.
  • Being proactive to help solve situations where students need support following Bay Port''s expectations.
  • Work with administration on any concerns or opportunities that need support greater than the team can provide.
