Position Summary:
The Campus Director provides day-to-day leadership for campus operations, ensuring excellence in program services, financial performance, team member leadership, and resident satisfaction. This role oversees planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of services while ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining targeted occupancy. The Campus Director leads and supports team members, contracted staff, and volunteers, and ensures the campus operates in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Village Communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the provision of high-quality services and a resident-centered experience across all campus programs.
- Maintain ongoing compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory statutes, rules, and standards.
- Achieve and sustain targeted occupancy levels through effective leadership, service excellence, and coordination with marketing/outreach efforts.
- Drive excellence in customer satisfaction by proactively soliciting feedback, implementing improvements, and supporting interactive problem-solving with residents and families.
- Improve coordination and effectiveness of customer service functions across all areas of campus operations.
- Prepare and administer the annual budget; monitor financial performance and maintain effective cost controls.
- Promote and model constructive problem solving and a "quality first" culture.
- Provide support, direction, supervision, and performance feedback to friends team members, including contracted staff and volunteers.
- Encourage team member engagement through participation and/or leadership in regular in-service meetings and training opportunities.
- Support donor contact, cultivation, and solicitation efforts as part of the campus ministry and advancement strategy.
- Coordinate meetings and the support team's involvement.
- Implement policies and procedures established by BVC management and ensure consistent execution across the campus.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with community leaders and referral sources to strengthen community trust and campus reputation.
- Assess, prioritize, and recommend needs for capital improvements and expenditures.
- Establish and maintain quality standards and efficient operational systems to support service excellence.
- Develop leadership and teamwork skills among team members through coaching, direction, and educational opportunities.
- Perform other duties as directed to support efficient, high-quality services and the overall effectiveness of Baptist Village Communities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in operations, program administration, and team management (senior living, healthcare, nonprofit, or a related service environment preferred).
- An assisted Living administrator license is required.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality standards in a licensed or service-driven environment.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost controls.
- Ability to lead teams, coach performance, and build a positive, accountable workplace culture.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop community relationships and represent the organization with professionalism and integrity.
