    Job Summary

    Assist Enrollment Management by being a campus representative in ensuring excellent service is provided to prospective students and families in a variety of settings (which may include campus visits, tours, open houses, and/or classroom visits) that exemplifies Benedictine hospitality.

    Job Duties

    • Lead and provide exemplary campus tours to our guests (prospective students, families, and visitors to the College), both scheduled and unscheduled
    • Maintain knowledge of campus updates, policies, and offerings
    • Assist with event setup, check-in, and other guest services as needed
    • Represent the college positively at admissions events
    • Answer questions about academic programs, student life, and campus resources
    • Share personal student experiences and campus information
    • Take and distribute messages
    • Assist with mailings
    • Retrieve supplies when needed
    • Taking the initiative to perform other duties for staff that may require assistance
    • Perform other duties as assigned, which may include tasks such as data entry and maintaining Admissions records

    Required Qualifications

    • Must be a current CSS student
    • Federal work study eligibility is required
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
    • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with a wide variety of people (faculty, staff, students and the public) in a friendly, professional manner is required
    • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills are required
    • Able to work independently
    • Job functions require sitting, standing, and walking during shift
    • Professional attire and presence to represent the College to the public is required
    • Ability to perform all of the above functions during an assigned workday without significant risk of injury
    • Adhere to the Admissions Department Student Employment guidelines

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with public speaking and customer service are helpful
    • A positive, enthusiastic and authentic personality is a must

    Special Instructions to Applicants

    • There will be considerable training required for this position regarding campus tours
    • Students may not start training until employee paperwork with Student Employment is complete
