Camp Shield's mission is collaborating to empower Veterans - emotionally, socially and physically - to ensure they thrive After Military Service. Our vision is to reduce the risk of Veteran homelessness and suicide by providing a secure and comfortable healing environment for Veterans and their children to heal and grow. Camp Shield provides peer-support programs, retreats, workshops, resource navigation, financial assistance, and other programming serving Veterans and their families. Member Duties : The Camp Shield VISTA Leader - Project Coordination & Sustainability Specialist (Virtual) will build upon prior VISTA project development by refining systems supporting recruitment, VAD and SOL development, project tracking, reporting, intermediary-site coordination, supervisor resources, and program continuity. The Leader will also provide peer support to assigned VISTA members and collaborate virtually with the VISTA Program Director, site supervisors, intermediary sites, and the Member Experience & Development VISTA Leader.
