Camp Director
Reports to the General Manager-
Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrated experience working with and leading children preferably in sports and cooperative games.
Desire and ability to supervise, lead, and positively manage campers and work with other staff in a cooperative, team-oriented camp atmosphere.
Knowledge and skills in athletics and games and the ability to teach these skills to campers of all ages and staff in an inclusive, creative, and fun way.
Possess excellent character, integrity, adaptability, patience, self-control, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience coaching/teaching both youth and adult sports
Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills
Must be a team player
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period of time
