Title: Calibration Test Technician
Location: Clinton, PA 15026
Pay: $29.00 $30.00/hour
Hours: Monday Friday; 6:30 AM 3:00 PM

Overview
We are seeking a Calibration Test Technician to support Quality operations at a manufacturing facility in Clinton, PA. This hands-on technical role is responsible for testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
The technician will manage calibration records, perform routine internal calibrations, coordinate external vendor calibrations, and assist with equipment qualification and validation activities.

Required Skills
  • Hands-on experience testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation or measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic systems
  • Ability to inspect, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and calibrate instruments and equipment
  • Ability to read specifications and verify equipment conformity
  • Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills
  • Comfortable working with computerized maintenance/calibration tracking systems
  • Proficiency with PCs and Windows-based software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain precise, accurate calibration records
Job Description
  • Perform routine calibrations on plant equipment, laboratory instruments, gauges, meters, and other calibrated tools.
  • Track calibration activities electronically and maintain instrument and equipment calibration files.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to schedule and complete external calibrations.
  • Develop calibration procedures for new instruments and equipment and revise existing procedures as needed.
  • Assist with equipment qualification and validation studies.
  • Plan and execute testing and calibration procedures.
  • Prepare laboratory equipment used to test, evaluate, and calibrate other instruments.
  • Disassemble equipment and inspect components for defects or wear.
  • Repair or replace defective components and procure necessary spare parts.
  • Maintain spare-parts inventory supporting instrumentation and electrical requirements.
  • Measure components to verify conformity with specifications.
  • Align, repair, replace, and balance component parts and circuitry.
  • Reassemble and calibrate instruments and equipment following repairs.
  • Troubleshoot measurement and calibration issues and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain complete and current calibration documentation.
  • Document calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair activities using company-provided software.
  • Enter new equipment into the master calibration schedule and ensure calibration work orders are generated before expiration dates.
  • Assist engineers with test, calibration, repair, and equipment-evaluation plans.
Preferred Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a regulated industry
  • Previous experience with calibration programs, preventive maintenance systems, or equipment qualification/validation
  • Experience coordinating calibration activities with third-party vendors
  • Experience maintaining equipment calibration schedules and compliance documentation
Education Requirements
Technical School Certification in Electronics or equivalent technical education/experience.
