Calibration Technologist and Technician 
Windsor Locks CT
Contract – 1st Shift, 5/40
Pay Rate: $45.46/Hr.

Position Summary:  Calibration Technologist and Technician 

 

 

 


  • Provide technical leadership and engineering support for the Metrology Laboratory.
  • Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely calibration services supporting production, testing, and laboratory operations across the site.
Responsibilities:  Calibration Technologist and Technician   
  • Develop, maintain, and improve calibration procedures and standards.
  • Provide technical support for day-to-day calibration operations.
  • Ensure calibration activities comply with applicable quality requirements and standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and systems.
  • Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to metrology technicians.
  • Lead automation, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of measurement systems.
  • Partner with production, test, laboratory, and engineering teams to address calibration and measurement needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes, equipment performance, and overall service delivery.
Required Qualifications: Calibration Technologist and Technician   
  • United States Citizenship is required.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and support to technicians and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Calibration Technologist and Technician 
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • Experience in metrology, calibration, instrumentation, measurement systems, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Experience with calibration procedures, laboratory equipment, or measurement systems is highly desirable.
