    Calibration Technician – Temporary Assignment

    Scientific Safety Alliance (SSA) is looking for a Calibration Technician to support one of our clients in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico.

    This is a six-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension, and an excellent opportunity for a technical professional interested in gaining hands-on experience in calibration, instrumentation, process controls, and troubleshooting within an industrial environment.

    What You'll Do

    As a Calibration Technician, you will support process and control instrumentation activities, including:

    • Perform calibration of process and control instrumentation.
    • Install and configure instrumentation and related equipment.
    • Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues.
    • Perform basic maintenance and technical adjustments as required.
    • Analyze changes in instrument values and identify potential operational impacts.
    • Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
    • Maintain accurate documentation related to calibration and instrumentation activities.
    • Support additional technical activities based on operational needs.

    What We're Looking For

    • Associate degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Applied Science, or a related technical field.
    • Experience in instrumentation, electronics, calibration, or a related field.
    • One (1) or more years of calibration experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of process and control equipment, including:
      • Calibration
      • Maintenance
      • Configuration
      • Installation
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to evaluate technical information, understand the impact of changes in values, and make sound decisions.
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
    • Valid Puerto Rico driver's license.
    • Availability to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts, as operational needs require.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in cGMP or ISO-regulated environments.
    • Knowledge of data management programs.
    • TWIC credential is a plus.
