Gauge Calibration Technician
Pay: $26.10 - $32.25/hour based on experience

Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Gauge Calibration Technician to support quality and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and documenting measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate has prior gauge calibration experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate calibration records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments and inspection equipment.
  • Calibrate and set up standard and non-standard gauges.
  • Maintain accurate calibration records, documentation, and tracking systems.
  • Ensure measuring equipment remains compliant with quality standards and industry requirements.
  • Support ISO and quality management system requirements related to calibration processes.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot measurement equipment issues.
  • Review calibration data and identify potential equipment concerns.
  • Maintain organized calibration areas, tools, and documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain proper PPE requirements.
  • Complete required certifications and maintain qualification status.
  • Follow workplace organization standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of gauge calibration experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of calibration standards, procedures, and quality management systems.
  • Experience maintaining calibration records and documentation.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using calibration software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with production and quality teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or precision machining environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards.
  • Experience with inspection equipment and measurement tools.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Working Environment
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to operating machinery, noise levels, moving equipment, and industrial materials.
  • May be exposed to oils, coolants, dust, and other standard manufacturing conditions.
  • Must follow all required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb stairs, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and materials.
Additional Requirements
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening, including THC testing.
