Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Calibration Technician for a Contract to Hire with a client in Mt. Vernon, IN. The ideal candidate with experience performing precision calibration activities across electrical, pressure, temperature, torque, and dimensional measurement disciplines while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Rate Range: $21/hour to $25/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Calibration Technician Job Responsibilities include:

  • Perform calibrations on electrical, dimensional, torque, pressure, and temperature measurement equipment in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.

  • Accurately document calibration results, maintain traceability records, and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, and other applicable quality requirements.

  • Conduct calibration activities at customer sites and designated depot locations while ensuring timely completion of assigned work.

  • Inspect, maintain, and verify calibration standards and equipment, escalating issues and discrepancies as needed.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support cross-training initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and operational efficiency goals.

  • Support quality assurance, safety, audit readiness, and compliance activities while maintaining clean, organized, and professional work environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent training in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Metrology, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.

  • 2+ years of hands-on calibration experience performing calibrations across multiple disciplines in a laboratory, manufacturing, or customer-site environment.

  • Strong knowledge of calibration standards and quality requirements, including ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, and calibration documentation practices.

  • Experience calibrating electrical, pressure, temperature, torque, and dimensional measurement equipment with the ability to work independently in customer-facing environments and cross-train across disciplines.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
