    Position Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    Description of Duties

    Calibration System

    • Maintain calibration system to ensure full compliance with company standards and ISO requirements
    • Manage and coordinate calibration activities with both internal and external suppliers and customers
    • Perform mechanical calibration of gauges utilizing specified layout style
    • Coordinates calibration through interacting with production personnel
    • Manages the flow of gages/fixtures through the inspection department to ensure timely calibration
    Lean Initiatives
    • Observes Company processes and makes recommendations for improvement
    • Participates in Lean Projects
    Other
    • Maintains adherence to company policies, environmental and safety standards, and good housekeeping standards.
    • Performs other duties as may be required.
    • Attendance is an essential function of the job
    Qualifications

    Education/Experience
    • High school or technical school education, or equivalent, with mathematics emphasis.
    • Skill required to operate gauges and testing equipment.
    • Analytical capabilities to interpret detailed and complex drawings
    Physical Requirements
    • Visual ability (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate inspection machinery for precision work.
    • Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
    • Ability to lift objects from lower to a higher position or moving horizontally from
    position-to-position.
    • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted
