    Position Summary

    MSI Viking is seeking an experienced Electronic Calibration Technician to calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and certify electronic and electro-mechanical measuring and test equipment.

    This role is ideal for someone with strong electronic metrology experience who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and working with high-precision equipment.

    What You’ll Do

    • Perform calibration, adjustment, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical measuring and test equipment
    • Complete calibrations in accordance with company procedures, manufacturer specifications, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
    • Utilize multifunction calibrators including Fluke 5500A and 5700A series equipment
    • Operate high-precision instrumentation such as Keysight 3458A and Fluke 8588A multimeters
    • Complete calibration certificates and maintain accurate documentation
    • Update and maintain records in the company’s gage tracking software
    • Assist with maintaining laboratory standards and equipment
    • Troubleshoot equipment and identify repair or adjustment needs
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
    • Travel to customer sites as needed to perform on-site calibration services
    • Work with the team to meet turnaround times and customer expectations

    What We’re Looking For

    • 3–5 years of electronic metrology experience or successful completion of a PMEL or equivalent metrology training program
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Strong electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
    • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Customer-focused and professional approach
