    Job Summary

    MSI Viking is seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to perform calibration and testing of dimensional gages, hand tools, and other metrology equipment in accordance with A2LA/ISO 17025 requirements.

    This role is ideal for someone who is technically minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and with customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform manual and automated calibration and testing of dimensional gages, hand tools, and related metrology equipment
    • Complete work in accordance with A2LA/ISO 17025 requirements
    • Update calibration tracking software and maintain accurate records
    • Generate calibration certifications and document results
    • Troubleshoot calibration and measurement issues
    • Communicate with customers regarding service needs and technical concerns
    • Maintain productivity and quality standards
    • Travel as needed to support customer and field service requirements

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Calibration Technician
    • Strong mathematical skills
    • Familiarity with metrology and calibration services
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Self-motivated and eager to learn
    • Ability to reason through and resolve complex customer concerns
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending, kneeling, and prolonged standing
    • Ability to travel as needed
