Job Store Staffing is seeking a Calibration Technician for our customer located in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Calibration Technician will test and calibrate mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments/equipment for conformance to established standards. An ideal candidate must be able to follow a sequence of testing and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment following blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, procedures and other specifications.
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am – 4:30pm
Pay: $18/hour
Required Skills:
- Calibration/machinist experience
- Good math skills
- Computer use
- Ability to follow detailed Instructions
- Work under minimal direct supervision (after training)
- Work as a Production Team member
- Ability to work in various Off-Site environments
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- Manufacturing/Production experience 1year+
- Basic sciences (Chemistry a plus)
- Basic mechanical, electrical and/or electronics experience
- Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word)
Education:
- High School (or GED Equivalent)
- Technical School a plus
