Location: Eagle, Idaho
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried
XII Barr Hospitality is a Boise/Eagle, Idaho-based multi-concept hospitality group behind Caffeina Caffè, Caffeina Kitchen, Caffeina Coffee Roasting Co., and Jovino's Wine Barr. Jovino's Wine Barr is our newest concept: a combined café-by-day, wine bar-by-night location, pairing Caffeina's coffee program with a curated wine list, wine club, and elevated evening hospitality.
We're looking for a hands-on, experienced Cafe Manager to lead Jovino's through an exciting relaunch — a re-opened location debuting as a genuinely unique concept: a fast-paced specialty café in the mornings and a curated wine bar in the evenings, all under one roof. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape a new concept launch, build the team and culture from day one, and own the results for both sides of the business. In the near term, the Cafe Manager will provide direct, hands-on leadership during wine bar hours as the concept gets off the ground, in addition to overseeing café operations.
What You'll Do
• Lead the on-the-ground launch of this re-opened, newly-combined concept, including opening procedures, initial team training, and early guest experience standards
• Own day-to-day operations across both the café (mornings) and wine bar (afternoons/evenings), including the daily changeover between the two
• In the near term, provide direct, on-the-floor leadership during wine bar hours (Wednesday–Sunday, afternoon through close) while the concept is established
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and lead a team covering barista, wine service, and kitchen roles
• Manage labor, inventory, and cost of goods to hit budget and margin targets; own the location's P&L
• Partner on the wine program — list execution, wine club growth, staff wine education, and guest experience
• Ensure full compliance with all state and local alcohol service laws and responsible-service practices
• Set and uphold service, cleanliness, and quality standards across both dayparts
• Build vendor and supplier relationships and manage ordering for café and wine bar inventory
• Create a strong, positive team culture that reflects XII Barr's hospitality standards
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of management experience in a restaurant, bar, café, or multi-unit hospitality setting
• Comfortable leading through a new concept launch or re-opening, with the flexibility that comes with it
• Wine knowledge or certification a plus; genuine interest in wine and guest education is a must
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
• Comfortable owning budgets, labor targets, and inventory/COGS management
• Must meet Idaho's age and certification requirements for managing alcohol service
• Current food handler's card, or willingness to obtain one
• Flexible availability across both café and wine bar hours, including weekends
Schedule
Full-time; schedule flexes across both café (early mornings) and wine bar (afternoon through close) hours, Wednesday–Sunday wine bar service plus café oversight seven days a week. In the near term, direct presence during wine bar hours is expected as the concept launches. Weekend availability required.
Compensation & Perks
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
