Responsibilities:- Oversee daily café and bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from open to close
- Cook in our café or for small events
- Manage, schedule, and train front-of-house staff including bartenders, servers, and café attendants
- Monitor and maintain inventory, placing orders for food, beverages, and bar supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with California ABC regulations, food safety standards, and responsible alcohol service
- Develop and update café and bar menus, pricing, and daily specials to drive revenue
- Handle cash management, POS systems, and end-of-day reporting
- Coordinate food and beverage service for club events, tournaments, and private functions
Requirements:- 2+ years of experience in a bar or café management role, preferably in a club or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of bartending, espresso drinks, and food service operations
- Valid California Food Handler's Certification and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a customer-facing environment
- Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and basic financial reporting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and early mornings
