CADD Technician - MicroStation / MDOT Transportation

Our client, an established civil and transportation engineering consulting firm in the Metro Detroit area, is adding a CADD Technician to its MDOT transportation team. This is a hybrid role supporting road and bridge projects for MDOT and local agencies.

What you'll do:

• Produce roadway, bridge, and construction plan sheets for MDOT and local agency projects
• Prepare and update drawings, details, and plan sets from engineer markups
• Follow MDOT CADD standards and help keep project files organized
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines

What we're looking for:

• Associate degree or technical training in drafting, civil engineering technology, or equivalent experience
• CADD experience on civil, transportation, or infrastructure projects
• MicroStation experience preferred, or AutoCAD/Civil 3D users willing to learn MicroStation
• MDOT or DOT project experience is a strong plus (OpenRoads a plus)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
