Location: Winchester, KY

Pay Rate: Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule: 8am-430pm

Education Requirements

• Associate degree (two-year program) required
• Preferred specialty in civil engineering, architecture, or construction; an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience considered in lieu of a degree

Experience Requirements

• Background in architectural or construction work preferred
• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD required, with working knowledge of Inventor a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent math skills and the ability to read and interpret site plans and technical manuals

Physical Capabilities

• Able to sit for extended periods using computer workstations and CAD software
• Visual acuity for detailed drafting, design review, and quality checks
• Ability to safely maneuver through a manufacturing facility or job site during occasional site visits, with reasonable accommodation available

Job Duties

• Create detailed drawings and bills of material to support manufacturing and installation of the company's products
• Review design information, site plans, and manuals to determine critical design dimensions, then perform calculations to produce fabrication drawings
• Use AutoCAD, Inventor, and Excel daily to complete proposal, contract, and fabrication drawings on schedule
• Confer with design staff on requirements and modifications, then produce accurate drawings for review and approval
• Prioritize projects by due date, maintain CAD standards, and serve as a liaison between engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams
• Work independently with minimal supervision while upholding the company's core values
