Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST

About the Role
We are hiring a CAD Technician / Drafter I for our client located in West Chester, PA. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in telecommunications design. Recent high school, trade school, and college graduates, as well as students nearing graduation, are encouraged to apply.

The selected candidate will prepare and update engineering drawings using CAD software, work closely with field engineers, and learn telecommunications design standards and processes.

This is a fully onsite position. Remote work is not available.
Responsibilities

• 
  Prepare CAD drawings using customer-specific applications and design standards.
  
• 
  Develop engineering drawings using IDDS / MicroStation design software.
  
• 
  Incorporate engineering markups and revisions into existing drawings.
  
• 
  Collaborate with field engineers to understand design requirements and prepare accurate drawings and supporting documentation.
  
• 
  Ensure drawings comply with company and client standards, policies, and procedures.
  
• 
  Interpret engineering sketches and technical documents to support design activities.
  

Qualifications

• 
  Experience using AutoCAD or another CAD application is required.
  
• 
  Experience with IDDS / ICGS or MicroStation is preferred but not required.
  
• 
  Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to visualize designs from sketches and technical documents.
  
• 
  Good computer, communication, and organizational skills.
  
• 
  Ability and willingness to learn telecommunications design methods and software.
  
• 
  Telecommunications industry experience is a plus.
  
• 
  High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school and college graduates are encouraged to apply.
