Role Snapshot

• Own the structural design process for folding cartons—from ideation to prototype.
• Follow structural best practices to meet exacting customer requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand functional needs and constraints.
• Study consumer and market trends to guide materials selection and innovation.
• Recommend cost-optimized materials based on availability and performance.
• Build designs in CAD (ArtiosCAD) and develop 2D/3D mockups.
• Operate, maintain, and produce samples on the cutting table (e.g., Kongsberg).
• Maintain CAD and project files with disciplined version control.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
• Serve as the bridge between customer and production to ensure execution aligns with intent.

Must-Haves

• Solid command of structural packaging design and converting methods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of related industry experience.
• Hands-on experience running a sample cutting table.
• 1+ year of ArtiosCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word experience (REQUIRED). Familiarity with Esko Cape Pack and WebCenter is a plus. Adobe applications and Salesforce knowledge are nice-to-have.
• Team-first mindset; able to multitask without sacrificing quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail and excellent close vision.
• Strong time management habits.
