Job Overview
CAD Engineer/Contractor to support PDK installation, environment setup, and basic Cadence customization activities. The role involves working closely with design teams to ensure smooth tool and PDK integration for ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform PDK installation, configuration, and validation for multiple technology nodes (e.g., TSMC N7/N5/N4, etc.)
Set up and maintain EDA tool environments, primarily Cadence tools (Virtuoso, Innovus, Tempus, etc.)
Support basic Cadence customization, including:
Environment setup scripts
Tool configuration and optimization
Flow setup and minor enhancements
Troubleshoot issues related to:
PDK integration
Tool setup and licensing
Environment/debugging issues
Work closely with designers to ensure smooth project execution
