CAD DESIGNER

CAD DESIGNER – NORTH CAROLINA

A leading heavy civil / geotechnical construction company is looking for an experienced CAD Designer to join their team in North Carolina.

This is a great opportunity for a CAD professional looking to build a career with an established construction organization working alongside experienced engineers and design professionals.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and maintain engineering and construction drawings
• Create structural and geotechnical drawings
• Complete red-lined as-built drawings
• Develop designs from preliminary sketches, diagrams, and concepts
• Produce complex technical drawings and detailed construction plans
• Take projects from conceptual layouts through finished drawings
• Coordinate CAD projects with engineers and other team members
• Generate and coordinate files for project layouts
• Identify opportunities to improve and simplify designs

What We’re Looking For:

• 0–2 years of CAD Technician / Drafter experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Civil 3D experience preferred
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• A get-it-done attitude
