Position Summary:

The AutoCAD Detailer position will report to the Director of ABS Project Management. The CAD Detailer will require knowledge in operations, and an excellent knowledge of AutoCAD software. A good customer service attitude and the ability to work overtime are required.

The primary products manufactured by Arizon Building Systems is Tensile Membrane Structures. Design drawings include structural steel assemblies, Membrane patterning, and creating a set of drawings for customer approval, and manufacturing.

Functions of the Position:

• Create new structural designs as
• Create simple 3D models of the structures in
• Work directly with production shop members, project managers, and sales
• Keep standard details up to
• Maintain library of approved standard
• Create custom designs and drawing as required for intricate job
• Work closely with the operations, sales and project managers to complete plans for our client''s
• Carefully review each plan for accuracy before submitting, including numbering, sizes, required title blocks and related information.
• Maintain persistence in accuracy.
• Work directly with inside applications team to ensure their needs are

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s Degree
• Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD experience

Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent grammar, math and spelling skills
• Ability to read and create construction drawings in AutoCAD
• Ability to independently read and understand written instructions
• Excellent time management skills
