CAD Designer

Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Irwin, PA
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $65,000.00-$75,000.00
Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CAD drawings and 3D models for valve components and assemblies
• Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and materials specified
• Develop installation drawings and service documentation
• Update drawings based on engineering changes, manufacturing feedback, and customer needs
• Support new product development and design modifications
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure designs are manufacturable and compliant
• Apply GD&T standards and support prototype testing
• Assist with tooling and fixture design for production efficiency

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechanical Design, CAD Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of CAD design experience in manufacturing
• Proficient in Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of drafting standards, GD&T, and tolerance analysis
• Familiarity with machining processes (CNC turning, milling, grinding, assembly)
• Valve design or ERP/PLM experience a plus
