This intermediate-level position is responsible for independently producing accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings and supporting manufacturing-ready documentation for assigned projects.The ideal candidate has strong SolidWorks experience, understands drafting standards and revision control, and can work closely with engineers and manufacturing teams to turn technical requirements into accurate drawings and documentation.This is a full-time, onsite position. Candidates must be able to work at our Katy location Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.ResponsibilitiesIndependently create and revise 2D and 3D engineering drawingsConvert original drawings, hand sketches, and schematics into CAD drawingsDesign, modify, and update existing drawings as project requirements changeCreate equipment layouts, fabrication drawings, and general arrangement drawingsDevelop system designs based on customer specifications and communicationsApply company drafting standards, symbols, and revision-control proceduresCoordinate with engineers to clarify design intent and resolve drawing issuesPrepare drawing packages and related engineering documentationMaintain accurate and organized CAD files and document structuresIdentify drawing errors, conflicts, and missing informationSupport manufacturing and engineering teams with documentation updatesProvide technical information or visuals for marketing projects as requestedAssist with customer service and quoting when neededManage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlinesQualificationsAssociate degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design, or a related field preferredCAD certification preferredAt least five years of professional CAD and design experience requiredProficiency in SolidWorks requiredExperience producing 2D and 3D drawings, equipment layouts, fabrication drawings, and general arrangement drawingsStrong understanding of drafting standards, revision management, and document controlExperience coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teamsStrong attention to detail and ability to identify drawing errors or inconsistenciesAbility to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programsSchedule and Work EnvironmentMonday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Overtime may be required based on project needsMinimal to moderate travel may be requiredThis position is primarily office-based, with occasional work in warehouse or manufacturing areasSteel-toe boots and safety glasses may be required in designated areasPneumatic & Hydraulic Co. reserves the right to modify job duties and responsibilities based on business needs.
