Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a “CAD Designer / Drafter<\/b>” based out of Milpitas, CA<\/b>.

Rate:<\/b> $35 -$37/hr on W2

In this role, you will support engineering teams in creating and modifying detailed mechanical drawings and documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD drafting experience, a solid understanding of engineering standards, and the ability to support product design changes throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/div>
  • Create and modify detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Develop drawings from engineering sketches, layouts, and design notes.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Review and verify drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with drafting standards.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Support engineering change processes, including ECN/ECR documentation updates.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure model accuracy and design intent are properly documented.
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
    Required Qualifications<\/b>
    <\/div>
    • 4–6+ years of CAD drafting or mechanical design experience.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Proficiency with CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience creating and revising detailed engineering drawings.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of engineering documentation, revision control, and change management processes (ECN/ECR).
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, medical device, or high -tech manufacturing environments would be a plus
