CAD Designer - Civil / Survey

Our client, a fast-growing land surveying and engineering firm in Southeast Michigan, is seeking an experienced CAD Designer with a civil and/or survey background to support a busy production team.

Responsibilities:

• Draft survey plats, ALTA surveys, topographic maps, and site plans
• Process field data and build surfaces and base maps
• Prepare civil drawings including grading and utility plans
• Work with surveyors and engineers to meet project deadlines
• Maintain CAD standards and drawing quality

Requirements:

• Associate degree or technical training in drafting, civil, or surveying (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of civil and/or survey CAD experience
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Understanding of survey data and boundary concepts
• Organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused
