Scope of the role:
This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within one of Corning Incorporated's key engineering organizations, supporting the deployment of new, innovative, and technically challenging technologies. As a member of the Melting Design team, the position is responsible for the detailed design of Display Technologies melting process equipment, including support for repairs, expansions, and technology improvements to existing platforms. The role also provides project support for key divisional initiatives, with a focus on implementing robust, cost-effective process machine systems in Corning's manufacturing plants. Additional responsibilities include developing scope of work documents for suppliers for quotes, purchase orders, and repairs, as well as supporting the fabrication, test runs, and equipment acceptance at supplier sites. The position also provides technical support for Melting Design Reviews, Potential Problem Analysis reviews, and day-to-day design challenges within the department.

The range for this position is $48,784.00 - $67,078.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
